Terms of Service

You must be 18 or older and a parent or legal guardian of any child you create a profile for. The service is operated for adults; children do not use it directly.

A weekly, personalized five-night bedtime story for each child profile on your plan, written by AI from the details you provide, delivered on your chosen night, for you to read aloud. Stories are fiction generated by artificial intelligence. Every story passes automated content-safety checks before it is shown, and you can preview and approve stories in your dashboard. Automated checks are thorough but not infallible; you know your child best, and the preview exists so you always have the final say.

Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, including child details you are entitled to share as the parent or guardian. One household per account.

• Price: the base plan is $9.99/month for one child profile. Each additional child profile is $4.99/month, up to four children total. Prices are shown at checkout and can change only with advance email notice, effective your next billing cycle.
• Free trial: new accounts get a 7-day free trial with a card on file. The plain-words version shown at checkout is the deal: your card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first, and we email you a reminder on day 5 before any charge.
• Skipping the trial: if you choose the subscribe-today option, your card is charged immediately, and the confirmation step says so before you pay.
• Cancel anytime: one tap in Family and billing. Cancellation stops future charges; your plan runs through the period you already paid for, and stories already delivered remain readable.
• Refunds: if something went wrong on our side (you were charged and the service did not deliver), email us and we will make it right. Otherwise, payments for a completed billing period are not refunded.
• Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, new story deliveries pause after a short grace period until payment succeeds. Delivered stories stay readable.

Stories generated for your child are yours to keep, read, print, and share within your family and friends for personal, non-commercial use, and they remain readable in your library while your account exists. You may not resell stories or use the service to mass-produce content for commercial redistribution. We retain the rights needed to operate the service (storing, displaying, and continuing your stories week to week); we do not publish your family’s stories or use them for anything beyond your service.

• Use the service if you are under 18, or create profiles for children you are not the parent or guardian of
• Attempt to access other families’ data, probe or overload our systems, or reverse the service’s internals
• Enter content into profile fields that is unlawful or intended to generate harmful material. Profile fields are for describing your child’s world and preferences

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can export or read your delivered stories before deletion if your account is terminated for anything other than abuse of other families’ data or our systems.

Stories are generated by AI and are works of fiction. They may occasionally be imperfect despite our automated checks and your preview controls. The service is provided “as is” without warranties beyond what these terms state. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

The Privacy Policy is part of these terms. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to make your stories, we never sell data, and you can delete a child profile or your whole account at any time, permanently.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.
